The results of this bad behavior are a disgrace! It's too bad people are not responsible enough to police themselves.

This is an important element in protecting a unique and ecologically significant natural resource. It should not be left "to chance" or "best intentions."

It my hope that Senate Bill 234 can be passed to help return Texas' rivers to their original clean state so all Texans can enjoy and appreciate them.

Please support this measure! The river depends on it!

The scene in the San Marcos is disgusting. It is no longer a safe or appropriate place to take young children. Tubers do not self police. If you try to talk to someone about civil behavior you worry about being assaulted or threatened. It's horrible. Do not trust these tubing outfitters, they lie and have no respect for the river or decency.

These tubing operations don't care about the San Marcos River. They should have made an effort years ago when they had the chance!

The San Marcos River is one of the natural gems of Texas and we should not let a few careless operations destroy it. A private plan to keep it clean has not worked for years and should be rejected at this time.

Let's clean up the river! Tubers don't do that, they trash the river!

I am an officer in the United States Army. San Marcos has been my second home throughout my childhood, and even now I love to paddle on the river. This tuber issue is ruining a cherished place.

Ridiculous, they are the cause of all this mess! Nothing to stop them from self policing now.

I was at two places on the river on Monday. Self policing is not working.

They obviously can not follow through on their promises!

The trash is a huge problem. I have seen it first hand. Irresponsible behavior in general is the root and makes it difficult to share this beautiful river with my family.

It's ridiculous, Texas State Tubes is operating out of a residential neighborhood and we can't do anything about it! We (Spring River Estates) knew nothing about the sale until after it was final which left us with no way to fight it, because of county road loopholes connecting to our private road Texas State Tubes is able to use our neighborhood as their only way accessible to the tubing co. It's funny that now Texas State Tubes and Don's want to "work" with residence. I too received the MOU letter, I have no sympathy for their companies.
