Building anything but residential would destroy the neighborhood on Georgia place and there is a legal covenant to keep this from happening. Please don't make our residential community commercial. We have put a lot of money into buying and restoring this beautiful area....don't sell us out!!!

This RV development at this location takes away from the "Frist Impression" we want visitors to have when they arrive. The clearing of the land and this development will lower the property values of the existing neighborhood. Please, do not allow this to happen!

This isn’t fair to the people who have worked for and own homes here. The value of their property will cost plummet. Please reconsider this use of this property. There’s much better uses. Projects that would enhance our beautiful area. An RV park would be more suited to an area with shade trees and privacy. Residents need to be able to enjoy their property in the manner they pictured it when they purchased it, Please picture this happening to Your personal home area. Stop the trailer park

The northeast corner of Cowan Road and Beach Drive in Gulfport is perhaps the most prime example of beach property left. It should not be rezoned for use as an RV park.

I am not in favor of this development. It would be an eyesore to those entering Gulfport and for residents.

Council members need to explain why the original zoning was incorrect before making a change which is essentially an exception - you wouldn't allow certain people to break speed limits so why allow certain people to go against long-term zoning rules?

When one needs to rezone an area to allow for what is essentially an "exception", one must consider whether or not the original zoning was correct - if it was incorrect, then those considering the changes MUST explain why it was incorrect and why the new zoning is necessary.

Cowan Road is a main artery feeding into I-10 and passing St. James Catholic Church and School. We do not need the problems this would create by exposing church-goers, parents picking up elementary school children to the increased traffic of large, cumbersome vehicles traveling to and from the proposed RV park. This land should remain zoned residential. RV parks properly belong in less populated areas.

These out of state developers keep buying up our land to maximize their own profits. They don’t care about how this impacts our neighborhoods.

No to zoning for an RV Park on the east corner of Hwy 90 and Cowan. Cowan is a major exit from I-10. An RV Park on the beach is a terrible image for Gulfport and a negative first impression of our city.
