The WBG gyms is professionally run, has high quality of service, and the staff provide a friendly and open environment that allows one to de-stress. Please do not outsource.

The Fitness Center staff have been *very* supportive in my attempts to become certified and eventually teach at the WB Fitness Center.

The center has a team of trained staff secon to none. The Bank has put in practice cost cuttting measures over the year. The benefit package offered to the current Fitness Center staff is low. I don't see the economic incentive to the Bank in considering this idea which likely will result in lower quality of service as well the dis -satisfaction of the users.

The petition summarizes all the reasons outsourcing would be a bad idea.

We have currently the best teaching team in the Fitness center and outsourcing will jeoperdize the quality. To cover the cost increase our monthly payment but don't change the teaching team.

I believe outsourcing with take away from the personal atmosphere of having it be a work gym. It is nice knowing everyone who attends and gives classes are all Bank employees. Besides cost I fail to see the benefit of having an outside provider take over the gym. Being a member myself I have comfort knowing everyone around is here because they want to be.

A big NO to outsourcing! The team is great, the service is outstanding and the WB staff is happy. Why should we change what is perfectly working.

Mike James has put together a superb staff, and they are doing a great job. Outsourcing was tried before (in the early 1990s, before Mike was recruited) and it was a disaster.

Cost savings unlikely with management fees, insurance costs, and security screening costs added on top. Happy to help find savings elsewhere.

I agree with my colleague Fenote that the WBG gym should not be outsourced since the gym staff are providing such valuable services to WBG staff members.

Please do not outsource the WB gym. It is one of the most important ways that staff can stay healthy and maintain a work/life balance. Mike and his team are all terrific professionals and the WB should recognize them for their dedication, not threaten them with outsourcing.

If the health center is outsourced, staff will not have the flexibility to exercise at a time that does not interfere with their work or may not have the option to exercise at all. It is therefore important this service stays in house. By doing so, the WBG shows it cares for the health of its staff, who travel frequently, work long hours under a lot of stress.
