Our family is going on the fifth generation in Tracy. We have seen many changes and our city can’t even keep up with what we have. Congestion is horrific on the 205 Grant line corridor and now they want to build up on the 580 Chrisman Corral Hollow corridor, which will only make it worse than what it is now. Try going to and from the Tracy area to Stockton Modesto, Patterson and traffic is at a standstill most days. The people are buying houses in those areas which are much cheaper than Tracy so this even worsens the issue. It’s just a ploy for development, which is hidden by Local developers to line your pockets and when it’s done, they will move onto another area and not look back. For the locals, it’s a no win situation unless you have land to sell and then move away with a big roll of cash.
The veterans building they’re proposing on Building is far from town and most veterans will not be able to walk there and we’ll have to take a taxi Uber, or a ride from friends to get there and back.

We already have semis rolling up and down Macarthur, using Valpico and Lammers as short cuts out of town. When we start having traffic accidents from too much big rig activity it will be too late. It’s a boondoggle in the property owners self-interest.

We do not need more warehouses. Do you know how bad traffic is. Keep our farm land growing. How about more restaurants and things the people of tracy can really use. Tracy is our home not a truck stop. Do the right thing or you may not be in office in the future.
