The ADA should support direct payments for service, FFS, or any minimum that mandates payment at time of service. To remove minimums goes to wrong direction and is a disservice to our community.

Insurance companies should not be making profit over threatening people of losing job, health, home, car, life, or anything precious to themselves. it is not acceptable to make insured to pay $2000 monthly premium and not even securing doctors for them because the insurance companies are not providing adequate amount of payment to the doctors. Where the money goes? It all goes to the insurance company as profit.

Thank you for helping hold insurance companies to a higher standard. As members of representative organizations, we should expect representation that mirrors its membership, not yields to groups that have fought us at every turn.

Let's use a clear specific DLR, similar to the Massachusetts language. The current NCOIL definition allows too much manipulation to increase the reported DLR.

The ADA should be representing dentists not insurance companies. It’s already hard enough after what we all just went through. We are getting screwed every which way we can. Please stop this from happening!

The ADA is wrong to support NCOIL and should help states pursue their own DLR legislations.

If this is true, I hope those at the ADA who failed us get what they deserve. Pathetic

ADA administrators have failed their fiduciary responsibilities by violating the official House of Delegates (HOD) policy, which requries a "specific loss ratio." Instead, by agreeing to the NCOIL framework, they adopted a "roving loss ratio" and insurance definitions that severely harm patients.
Furthermore, by violating this HOD policy (and pursuant to corporate law) the ADA has violated its legal contract with "the members" and is responsible for what will result in Billions of dollars annually in "damages" due to mis-directed oral health funds (which the NCOIL frawework directs to insurer profits, rather than patient care claims).
On behalf of a nation of patients and dentists, we demand that the ADA immediately exit the NCOIL agreement (prior to its April 11th ratification) until (and only in the event) the ADA receives approval from "the members" (represented by the HOD) to alter the current Policy on Dental Loss Ratio.

Do not allow for exclusions taken from the premium to manipulate the ratio when calculating the DLR.
