Siesta key feels like a charming Caribbean island right here in Sarasota. If you increase hotel height and the amount of people and traffic it just becomes one more US city that is too overwhelming to relax and enjoy. I believe that the number of tourists will decrease over the years because it will be too stressful to enjoy. Residents will also start to avoid it and only go to all the other nearby beaches year round.

Cela fait plus de 20ans que nous venons à Sarasota et siesta keys, nous ne voulons pas de building, nous voulons que cela reste une petite campagne. Nous venons de France chaque année pour la quiétude du lieux..

Please keep Siesta Key the way it is! It's beautiful...I have been enjoying Siesta Key for over 40 years...since my parents started bringing me as a child for vacation.
