The reason I and my family love visiting Siesta Key is because there are no large hotels.. it's quaint, quiet charm.. please leave Siesta Key as it is

No, no, no. There is SO much building every where here in Sarasota. We must keep Siesta Key Village to keep that quaint village feel. Please reconsider!!

hotels can exist, and be profitable, without height - one could easily make the case that more profit could come from less height - quaint, less noisy, peaceful, luxury - has greater value than disney, hyatt, hilton!

I don't want Siesta Key to start resembling Miami Beach. You're well on your way to doing that now.

As someone who has visited Siesta Key my entire life, I think a high rise hotel would ruin some of the charm of the Key. It's already incredibly crowded dur8kg high season and this will only make that worse.

Keep the current density limits for hotels.

Such a lovely place but a bit crowded already and no place to park. Why would you even consider this? A few are going to make money at the expense of many and the beautiful beach.

I haven't confirmed whether this story is true as it sounds way too hard to believe. However, if true, here is my signature.
