NO to I-405 TOLL LANES

I have to sacrifice my lunch money to be in office. Stop digging into my lunch money.

My commute has gone from 20 min to an hour because of the toll lanes.

Need to fix this now AND vote out those responsible.

Years of construction on I-405, and the result is new toll lanes for the elite and NO relief of congestion whatsoever in the peasant lanes. Thanks for nothing, WSDOT - here's hoping the obvious corruption behind this is unearthed and prosecuted, the toll lanes shut down and the freeway improved for EVERYONE the way it should have been in the first place.

I am a 405 user every day. I only need to get from South Everett to the second exit of 405 for school and work, so even if I wanted to, the idea of paying to get in a toll lane for 2 exits of 405 is farcical, not to mention probably impossible with all of their new confusing lines. This wonderful toll lane has increased what used to be about a 30 minute drive, ( I don't usually even travel at peak times in the nasty directions) and has increased it to a good 45 minutes to 1 hour. It still takes close to an hour to get there on bothell-everett highway because, surprise, surprise, everyone is avoiding 405 like the plague because it is an even worse parking lot. I don't care what numbers they have, or what they say, I have never in my life seen dead stopped traffic on 405 north after 7pm, barring a major accident or an act of God like snow, it usually moves at least 20-40 mph. But now, its a parking lot every way you go if we aren't entitled enough to pop over in the toll lane. Cutting off 33%-50% of the roads for 10-20 % of the people to use is not logical. Time to start paying more attention to the WSDOT and their shady maneuvers people. Not to mention, by banning 2 person carpools they are essentially increasing the number of cars on the road. Isn't that hypocritical of a state that wants to reduce our carbon footprint and be on the forefront of saving the environment? Let's get rid of Inslee, and better yet, all the idiots he placed on the Washington State Transportation Committee.

Making citizens and taxpayers pay to use public roads!!!!!!! Not right!! Finding out that 75% of tolls and fees collected go to a company in Texas. Outrageous!!!!!

This is making traffic everywhere worse! It is not encouraging more people to carpool, pay an "elite lane" tax, or use inconvenient public transport. You're increasing pollution by keeping more cars on the road for longer.

Maybe instead of tolling and constantly being taxed for nonsense, the people in charge should take a pay cut. Civil SERVICE.

the new toll take the morning commute for me to take my child to school from 12 minutes with the 2 of us to arpund 35 minutes solid on the 405. And we have only 1 exit to go every morning. The new tolls also makes the local streets much more congested. It's terrible. The traffic is not better, it's WAY worse than what it was before, so why do it?

Another unnecessary way for DOT to make more money and gouge our wallets because of the financial mismanagement!!!! People are already highly taxed in this state ...

We were perfectly fine without these toll lanes. These lanes will not fix traffic, and we are getting more money stolen from us. Just stop this.

Dump the HOT lanes now! Our tax dollars paid for that roadway once already. Why should we have to pay again to use it?

These lanes being tolled is absolutely ridiculous and dangerous. ...please remove the tolling.

outrageus, inefficient and real congestion is caused by this , both on highways and back roads.

Getting a pass is a hassle, there are no off times or days. No one understands how it works. This has created longer free way times and more congested road ways! Even with possiblities that most of the money isn't even going back to the state!

FUCK THESE TOLL ROADS!

This toll lanes does not create a solution but creates more problems! No studies have found tolling the major highway lanes improve the traffic.
