Get rid of Inslee and the politically appointed bureaucrats that make up WSDOT and Sound Transit.

NO toll lane and NO HOV lane. These have done nothing but cause traffic congestion on the freeway that WE paid for.

The I-405 toll lanes are a big mistake. If we open them all up the traffic would flow much better, like it does on the weekends.

I would love to meet the "rocket scientist" (sarcasm), who's responsible for that design. Get out of your offices while looking at cameras and statistics and sit in that MESS with the rest of commuters. 405 is an EPIC Failure!!! No way will I contribute an extra dime to that joke of a highway. My tax dollars have already been wasted. Shame on you!

Unbelievable arrogance and stupidity in the I-405 tolling scheme. Traffic is now unbearable anywhere near Bellevue. Eliminate the tolls, return on lane to GPL and the other to 2 person HOV immediately!

Make the madness end. The rich don't deserve their own lane. The traffic has gone from very bad to unbelievably horrible.

I'm even willing to see an increase in the gas tax, but no tolls on I-405. Get traffic moving again.

Toll lanes have not solved any traffic issues for the most part, in fact have caused additional problems in some cases.

It is wrong to have a system that benefits the upper class. Totally unfair for the average Joe. Time for a revolution!

I drive this everyday. It takes me 90 minutes to go 15 miles many days during the week. I cannot afford to pay $2400-$3000 per year to drive in the wealthy lanes. This tolling causes more congestion, not less. This is un-American.

Get rid of the "special purpose" lanes as well as the car pool lanes. Car pools do not relieve congestion unless all on board (that count toward the pool) are licensed drivers

The state DOT continues to lie to us! They said the HOT lane would not take away from General Use lanes, but from 520 North to 124th street (both directions) they have reduced the number of General purpose lanes creating artificial congestion. We, as tax payers, have also paid for an extra General purpose lane to be added to 405 over 10 years ago and it still has not been built! We have the highest gas tax in the nation, but some of the worst roads I have driven on in any state, and some of the worst congestion. The gas tax needs to go to road construction, not diverted to the general fund to pay for welfare programs, or to mass transit for the people who are not paying gas tax. Ousting the Transportation secretary should only be the beginning. Car owners and drivers are voters to! The politicians seem to think that the only people that vote are mass transit users. Lets remind them this November that Car owners vote as well!

Tolls on 405 are just another way to discriminate between the "have" and the "have nots!" The rest of us are delegated to the "back of the bus" and suffer consequences...those going to work, picking up kids from childcare, the gardener, the house cleaner, those on their way to a Doctor's appointment! Everyone east or west uses services transported on our highways! They are for all of us!

The design of I-405 is the real culprit. You can't go from 4 or 5 lanes down to 2 and not have congestion. Having many lanes by a town like Bothell or Bellevue with 2 or 3 or 4 lanes coming on and then narrowing down to 2 is idiotic. Los Angeles learned the hard way and I guess we must too. Too bad we can't learn by other's mistakes.

I have already paid for this slab of asphalt, many times over. Stop it.

I'm SICK OF BEING TAXED 3 TIMES. Once for the construction of 405, once for changing to tolls and then taxed when I purchased the Good to go or flex pass. Stop it. NOW!!

This has made commuting absolutely horrible. Whoever came up with this idea needs to be removed from office.

We have had a 2 person carpool for 3 years. We worked really hard to make our schedules work to carpool so there is one less car on the road. This toll lane has punished 2 person carpoolers and would like the option back!
