This will kill US opportunities for fresh graduates of its universities. A random person from India may get his/her GC at least 10 years earlier than any non-Indian graduate of Stanford. If First-In-First-Out System works better, US must crowd out all of its immigrants as they have come later than all US-Born people!

I say no this bill since it is against the diversity. Even if this bill get approved, the backloged will get worser and worser since they will adjust themselve to new law. It should be solved in a more comprehensive way.

I say no because, if you accept it, there won't be enough nurse and surgeons could immigrate to the USA, you are changing a bad law with another bad law.

This language of this bill requires significant change. While the backlog problem for the Indian nationals is there and should be solved, this bill would act as a temporary solution which stops the immigration process for all other nationals to just clear the current backlog. This does not prevent the backlog to form again in the future. Moreover, the immigration from all other nationals will be on hold for nearly a decade, which brings all sorts of unintended consequences including shortage of non-us workers in fields other than IT, preventing acclaimed scientists and researchers from all around the world to join US academical institutions, and significantly reducing the number of foreign (non-Indian) students attending US colleges and universities.

This bill is going to take more job opportunities away from America college graduates and most groups that representing American workers are against it. It also destroy diversity among the work environments and eventually among the general population.

I want to express my strong opposition and concerns to a bill called “ fairness for high skilled immigrants”, also known as S281 in Senate which is now attached to the house version of DHS funding bill for the fiscal year 2019. This bill will affect all the international students from all nations except Indians. Actually, I want to show my great concern about my future.
