the district just pulled the proposal and our neighborhoods are staying exactly where they are. i honestly cant thank you enough for sticking with this because we clearly proved that we deserve a seat at the table. lets keep paying attention to what they do next though.

Stone Briar and Savannah Hills, need to act fast as our children have been offered as a means to balance the socioeconomic makeup of the southern part of the city. Rather than extending borders for Laverna Evans Elementary up into Hinchcliffe and Kampmeyer, they have chosen to take our two neighborhoods and bus them into Evans boundaries. Our two communities pay a significant amount of property taxes, 72% of which go directly to fund local schools. The fact that this proposal was made without our input is unfair and will have severe consequences for our children and the value of our homes.

Signing signifies that you, as a resident of Stone Briar or Savannah Hills, do not concur with the proposals set forth by the O'Fallon Distrinct 90 Committee.

Per Mr. Roach, the committee will present this to the School Board on 18 October at 7:00 p.m. in the Fulton Junior High Band Room. WE NEED PEOPLE TO SHOW UP AND VOICE THEIR CONCERN!

Doesn't seem this change is in the best interest of our Savannah Hills kids. A longer ride to school, earlier bus pickup most likely and later arrival home. There has got to be a better way

I would like to know the justification behind singling out and bussing these two neighborhoods to Evans when everyone around us would be attending other elementary schools. Additionally, what is the educational justification with the backing of research to justify a 5th grade center?

Why in the world would just two single subdivisions be singled out to have our children bused clear across town to a school that does not match the level that we pay in taxes??

Growing up in savannah hills, I was transferred to multiple schools, 3 for just elementary, due to these borders. I don't want my family to have to suffer the way I did with having to start over every time I was transferred.

757 Merrifields Drive. Please do not do this! My now 1st and 4th grader will be separated and never be at the same school again. Never mind put my youngest clear across town, but also making it impossible for a working (single) parent to get to work on time.

I do not support the change in District. I do not want my children bused to another district. We moved to Stone Briar based on the school district that it was in. This is another example of unfair use of political power without our consent or support. Please vote against this district change.
