I have loved on Siesta Key since I was 5 years old (1960). There is no need for hotels or any buildings of this height and I am absolutely against changing what is currently within regulation to help developers make more money on the land they own. Siesta Key is a special place and always has been and we need to allow it to stay that way.

As a lifetime resident I do not want hotels of this size on or near Siesta Key. The Roads can’t handle the the traffic now.

Bought my house on key 7 years ago Was told at the time no high rise hotel could build on the island because of the rules. Don’t let money talk They made to rules for a reason. How can the traffic handle over 300 more cars at the end of the village Just say No !!!

Keep Siesta as is! The traffic is already bad during season. Adding hotels would make it worse AND hurt the environment. Siesta is a rental and vacation destination ... NO more hotels needed! Go north into Bradenton.
