I am a multi-generation Sarasota native. What has kept Siesta Key special is the remaining smaller feel. That will be completely lost with mega hotels. And we do not have the infrastructure for such development.

One of the primary reasons we vacation in Siesta Key is because it still has a small town feel. Please do not ruin this by allowing large cooperations to come in and build these enormous hotels and condominiums.

This is going overboard. They are ruining the Bayfront. You can hardly see the bay from what has been built by Fruitville & 41. Are they that money hungry they want to ruin it for people that live here. Enough!
