Though I no longer live here, my parents do and I grew up here. There is no need for this store here with another just a few miles away.

This will ruin property value, bring unwanted people and traffic into our neighborhood, and put an end to a local small business. NO TO DOLLAR GENERAL!

We moved into our house at Glen Cannon and Raymond Hill in 1978, when I was 2 years old. It is beautiful land, our family home, and the place my sister and I grew up. Now I'm raising my family in this house, and the view from EVERY BEDROOM, as well as the Kitchen and Breakfast area will be of this store. I AM VERY AGAINST THIS BUSINESS IN MY RURAL NEIGHBORHOOD! There is another Dollar General store 4.5 miles away at Thomas Crossroads, and absolutely no need for this store. In addition, there are no sidewalks in the area, so there will be increase foot traffic through our yards, with no crosswalks in this hilly area there will likely be people hit while attempting to cross the street, vehicle traffic at an already congested intersection will increase, and people will be in our immediate neighborhood who would not otherwise be in here. One quick search on the internet brings up endless instances of crime and shootings at Dollar General Stores. I DO NOT WANT TO RAISE MY FAMILY WATCHING OUT FOR STRAY BULLETS!!!!!!!! And in a lesser, but still valid point, the Hall family has been in this area for many, many years, the location in question sits across the street, diagonal, and next door to members of the Hall family. As if killing the family's business wasn't bad enough, Dollar General will be killing the value of their homes too (as well as mine!). WE DO NOT NEED DOLLAR GENERAL IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD!

I wish for this corner to remain zoned rural. Nobody needs a Dollar General. It brings the riffraff. Also, I recently met the family that owns Hall's. They've been in that spot for over 100 years. A Dollar General would put them out of business in no time. I vote for local business - Hall's - and vote no for Dollar General.

I vote NO to the Dollar General. This store in this location would greatly reduce the property values and the asthetics of our community. There is a Dollar General currently on Glenda Trace in Newnan approximately 3 miles away. There is nothing positive that this store can bring to our rural community that we cannot easily obtain in Newnan.
