We do not need another Dollar General store in this area. There are currently 3 within a 5 miles radius. This will only bring our property values down. I seriously doubt there would be enough customers to even meet the overhead. It could even cause on of the existing stores to go under and then we are faced with a vacant building and crime rising. I vote NO.

My wife and I live in the Le Paradis subdivision and WILL vote this issue.
The Dollar General store locator shows 15 stores near us including:
• One at nearby Thomas Crossroads.
• Six in Newnan.
• One each in Senoia and Tyrone.

Additionally, we have FOUR Dollar TREES – if that’s more your flavor - near us, inc one at nearby Thomas Crossroads.
Rezoning to commercial here will drive down the value of nearby residential properties, and therefore the tax revenue from those properties.

No Dollar General! I live off of Tommy Lee Cook Rd in Newnan, Ga. Newnan is growing way too much, and I would like to keep as much rural as possible. It has gotten way to busy and crowded. It is sad, I have lived here all my life and it feels less like home with every new store that goes up.

It's already going to tax our roads when the new middle school is built between Fischer and Shaw roads. There are already three Dollar General in our immediate area. This should absolutely not be allowed! We do not need additional traffic at an already overcrowded and dangerous intersection. Children on school buses and bicyclists will be in peril. Dollar Generals invite crime. Walmart was denied at Hwy 154 & Hwy 29 for many of the same arguments. Please do not allow them to build at Fischer & Raymond Hill.

I live on East Lake Dr,about 1/4 mile from the proposed dollar general site. It appears that this would be a dangerous site, plus the congestion caused.

Le Paradis neighborhood. I'm originally from Los Angeles and I moved here to escape from the heavy traffic and concrete jungle. Don't turn our neighborhood into that. I am against the rezoning of the area.

This is a RESIDENTIAL area & we want it to STAY that way!!! If we want to shop at Dollar General there are plenty within a 15 mile radius!! 3 of those are less than 5 miles away! Plus traffic is already a nightmare there during the school year and once the middle school is there it'll be even worse!!! Keep are area RESIDENTIAL!,,,

This Dollar General is not needed in this specific area. This will interfere with people's homes & how their children grow up. This could also be potentially dangerous for those who would want to walk to the store because of housing & the school, (Northgate High School), the school I went to for my high school career. Say no to this Dollar General that isn't needed! Say yes to rural!
