No to Dollar General, Yes to Rural

I am opposed to the rezoning of the property at Fischer and Raymond Hill. This property has always been a dangerous corner with the heavy drive-time traffic with lots of inexperienced teen drivers going and coming from Northgate High School. The added traffic issues aside, the area is certainly not prime for a commercial development such as a Dollar General or other similar stores. Their typical large, prefab building is non-conforming to the neighborhood and would be a detraction to the value and appeal of the neighborhood. There are certainly no shortage of dollar stores in nearby commercially developed areas. This neighborhood should remain residential and rural. Don't approve the zoning. I live a mile away in Lake Zachary.

There is no reason for this when there are so many around this area. It would also put the local small mom & pop store out of business across the street.

I am opposed to commercial zoning in this area. I live in LeParadis Subdivision off Fischer Road, near this proposed site.

I live off of Fischer Rd. in the Le Paradis neighborhood. I do not want the zoning to change. It should remain rural residential. There's a house right across from it and an old timey grocery store close by. We already have two Dollar General stores in very close proximity.

We already have 3 dollar generals within 10 minutes. I've never shopped at the store, unless I was buying throw-away office supplies in the Navy when the government wouldn't pay. Why rezone a quiet residential area to make way for a store that will permanently ruin the corner.

Please don't commercialize any more of our rural areas. There are enough places zoned commercial already. Thank you
