The intersection location in close proximity to the high school could create hazardous driving conditions for high school students who lack driving experience. There are currently two dollar stores in the Thomas Crossroads area...a third is unnecessary! Please promote good stewardship of our land and consider our teenage drivers. Do not allow the commercial zoning of this land!

I am against the rezoning of this property at the corner of Fischer and Raymond Hill roads. Please keep this area residential. Go down Fischer a few miles or up Raymond Hill for all the commercial property you could ever need.

A Dollar General is NOT needed at Raymond Hill and Fischer Rd. There are already two Dollar Generals near by (thomas crossroads, tyrone, and even in senoia), and with the fact that the high school kids that like to congregate at the Halls Grocery store I truly feel that adding a Dollar General and let alone a strip of stores is not safe at all. Bringing this to the area will not only increase traffic, but could cause a fatal wreck on this road and the last thing that anyone needs to hear about is another person dying because people were not paying attention. The road is NOT big enough to add such things and this area is quiet and filled with subdivisions which means small children. While I understand they want to make things "convenient" they need to understand that the community in this area wants to make our children and loved ones SAFE. Please do not build this!

I oppose the DG being built at the corner of Fischer and Raymond Hill. We just moved into the Northgate community and don't want to have any commercial zoning around this neighborhood. There are 3 DG's within 4.8 miles of the proposed area. Thanks!

I LOVE Dollar General! We own stock in the company, and I shop there as my WalMart alternative when I am in a hurry. That said, I am definitely opposed to having a DG store, or commercial anything, at Fischer and Raymond Hill for many of the same reasons already stated. My adult kids and myself can hardly turn left onto Raymond Hill as it stands now due to Northgate traffic. I addition, in 16 years I have seen so many bad accidents at the intersection that I am always a little fearful and extra cautious myself when coming to it during school. Box stores like DG are a great addition in areas where people have to drive a long way to a grocery or in areas like the one at Thomas Crossroads that is already commercial However, there really is zero need for or desire for another store so close to the ones already in existence. I was opposed to SAMS when it moved in because it started that commercial trend to our beautiful, green, open fields and tree lined roads. Also, I love Halls! I want them to stay as long as they are able because they are representative of our small rural community. Let's all go to the meeting and stand up for our little area of the world!

I say NO to the rezoning commercial for another Dollar General. We moved in the area 16 years ago to be away from all the traffic a commercial area brings. Besides, there are already 3 Dollar Generals that are 4 miles or less in any direction from where I live and from the Raymond Hill/Fischer Rd. intersection.
