Far too many residents rely on ground water. We have been on water restrictions significantly over the last several years. How can you tell residents that we have dangerously low water and most conserve and in the next sentence propose a data center? Data centers at their smallest use 4 million gallons of water a DAY, which is what those on Frederick County use a day. That's not including the significant use is Wells in the area. Some data centers use 4-5 MILLION gallons a DAY. Others in VA are pushing up to 7.5 MILLION gallons a day. But the county wants to tell us we can't water our gardens because there's not enough water and that's without days centers. And then there's the treated (contaminated) water they release....

In the push for technological advances you are pushing are future out of existence. This is unethical and environmentally unsafe for humans, plants and animals. Poisoning them and then killing off the climate and environment. All for money!!

No thanks! We want to keep our land and do not want the environmental destruction in our town, county or city.

Concerned neighbor and property owner in WV, who is affected by proposed transmission line projects to fuel these data centers. Say NO. No data centers means no transmission lines.

The importance of preserving our rural areas without the intrusion of data centers, is not only important for our children, but for our farms, our health, our sanctity. There has to be a better way. I am 100 % against using our rural land for these endeavors.
