No to Chemours Water Renewal - Permit # NC 0003573

Until there is 100% proof that it is safe there should be no renewal. We don't care how much they donated to, David Rouzer and Tom Tillis!!!

We can no longer allow this to happen in our local community and/or any other global community - transparency and accountability for these irresponsible corporations is mandated. They will be exposed and it starts from the bottom up (not the top down). The TIME to ACT is NOW!

Everyone deserves clean water. It's time for the big corporations to STOP polluting and do the right thing.

This needs to be stopped until it is determined the damage this company has already done to the unsuspecting people of New Hanover County and the Cape Fear region.

I am appalled that DuPont/Chemours is allowed to knowingly poison our water supply. This must stop before the citizens of ILM suffer any more negative consequences

There should be no question to the purity and safety of the water that we drink, period.

Stop poisoning our water

This should absolutely be stopped. The fact that it is "allowed" to dump chemicals before testing has been done to determine the effects in our water source is abomination. This permit should NOT be renewed for this company or they will continue to poison the water. Not renewing the permit has to be the first step towards righting all of the wrongs done by this company's actions.

Stop the flow of GenX into our water supply NOW!

I think if chemours is SO confident that wilmington nc water is within safe limits, their CEO and board members won't have any problems refilling their water coolers with our local tap water....enjoy.

For how many centuries shall we allow this monster to grow?

Time to think of healthy lives and community rather than big business and greed.

If Chemours was ever permitted to release this poison in their outflow pipe or by leachate from their onsite landfill or through some other process, that was a travesty. If they were never allowed to do so, this permit should obviously be denied.

If you don't respect the environment in the community you do business you won't do business.

My daughter and her family live in Wilmington. Clean up your act and clean up the water!

Since this is all about money... I have a solution. Deny their permit and I will let NC government in on a secret that will create more jobs and be a ZERO contaminate, commercial business--yielding more revenue, more tax, etc. That's what you want right? More money? Get rid of of Chemours now! Deny their Permit and have them fix what they have done at once. NC tax payers demand this. Shame on the powers at be for letting this happen on their watch--local, State and Federal. Companies don't tell governments what to do! We the people tell the government what we want and expect and we expect you to DENY their permit! We expect you to keep our water clean and safe to drink. We demand this!

Please stop allowing Chemours to pollute the Cape Fear River. Please don't approve their permit renewal until they can find an environmentally sound way to dispose of ANY chemicals. You would think that this wouldn't be something that people would have to sign a petition to ask for. We pay for water to be clean and healthy and safe for us and our family, but here we are literally begging to be safe! This is heartbreaking.
