The economy of Wilmington is dependent on tourism and the migration of people from other areas. This water situation needs the be resolved ASAP. We have the technology to produce clean water. Any added cost should be a selling point given the poor condition of water treatment around the country.

We cannot trade upon the quality of our drinking water. If Chemours cannot or will not describe their compounds completely and guarantee to keep them out of our water supply then they must be denied a permit.

This is a no-brainer. Deny this permit. The old one is expired. There is danger in the water. Do your job!

We need to protect our community from this known cancer causing toxin. Do not ruin this area we all love and cherish. Life is greater than money let's stop this evil from happening right now! The people of the cape fear region do not deserve to become the next flint, let's stop this now.

Keep harmful chemicals out of our drinking water! It is a disgrace that a petition even has to be signed to address this matter.
