I think it is foolish to have to buy more clothing when we already have ones that fit.

My daughter and most of the pupils wear the correct trousers and and it seems unfair that we are penalised for the few that break the rule.

Just another way to charge the parents more money. It's a disgrace. If my child was attending ur school I would be sending her in in NON-LOGO uniform and writing a VERY strong worded letter telling you where to stuff ur bloody trousers and that she would NOT be wearing yours! Seriously what are they gonna do? Put all pupils in detention for joy wearing the "correct" uniform? Why was there no survey sent home? Why were the parents not consulted on this? At least kids these days wear a uniform and look smart. When I first went to secondary school in 1986 there was a uniform but not as strict as it is now. We had goths, skinheads, kids with Mohawks, brightly coloured hair, girls used to walk in 6 inch stilettos! Time to see sense me thinks!

This is rediculous, who would pay nearly £20 for a pair of school trousers? Why do they need the logo on isn't the t-shirt and jumper enough! School uniform is expensive as it is!

This seems excessive, and will add hundreds of pounds to the costs of putting my children through CVC. No supporting evidence has been provided to support the assertion that "most parents agree". Disgraceful waste of our time and money.

This is just too much money in September i will have a whole new year 7 uniform to buy, a child in year 8 who will need these trousers and a little one starting reception so another set of uniform.

It seems very silly. This is all due to the silly issue with a few students not following the rules like others and now they are causing everyone extra expenses for no reason what-so-ever. If they want to introduce it at least do it from year 7 where the students join the school!

Far too expensive and pointless, also the trousers do not look appealing what so ever.

Too expensive and kids are such different shapes and sizes. I am a single parent and can spend between 12.50 & 17.50 for one pair

This is completely ridiculous. I can't believe that this shameful facade is allowed to go on. It's structured sexism, because the whole point of the school trouser policy in the first place was to make girls less distracting!! WHAT?!? How about instead of sexualising teenage girls, who are probably already uncomfortable about their body as it is, you teach people that girls are not sexual objects, and should be allowed to wear what they want. Besides, anyone that is already breaking the rules, is going to continue breaking them, regardless of this. Don't penalise parents and students who have bought the correct trousers, especially if it means making them stupid amounts of money for new ones, which will probably be a poor fit. Very dissapointed with the school. Perhaps it should concentrate more on exams and less on the uniform policy, which already limits children on finding who they are, and being comfortable in their body's.
