I live on Hickory Hill and want to keep it at 2.5+ acres per.

Countless hours were spent on the Argyle Master Plan. When developers come in and want to drastically change the zoning I don't understand why they aren't just handed the Master Plan and sent on their way. Belmont Ridge is asking for 10,000 square foot lots which is not even close to the requirement. Of course, they know this. I predict they will be back with slight variations and we do the dance all over again.

This planned development doesn't come close to the requirements of the comprehensive plan. Why are these even passed forward to P&Z?

it is zoned 2.5 acres per home site and I believe it should stay that way

Approving developments which seek exceptions to nearly everthing Argyle represents only serves to erode that which makes Argyle special to those of us who live here! Please do not approve high density developments.

I drive down Hickory Hill every morning to go to work. I always see people taking a quiet and peaceful walk. They fill very safe on their walks. With the traffic that this new addition would bring will make it very unsafe to take their walks and ruin the beauty of the country feel it has always had.

I lived in argyle my whole in tire life. We don't need no more houses. We need a grocery store

Please stick to the comprehensive master plan that keeps the unique rural character of Argyle intact. We understand development, we just do not want to look like every other cram-packed suburban community out there! Keep our town rural.

KEEP ARGYLE RURAL! We moved here for that reason and to give our girls a better education which Aisd has! We are very proud of that as Argyle should be as well. If it wasn't for the rural town it would be no different than cities. We love The Town of Argyle and do not want to be The City of Argyle. Keep the meaning of town so PLEASE keep Argyle Rural!

I am opposed to Belmont Ridge. It does not meet the current development requirements of our planning program. The home density is to high per acre.

We have been in this town for 16 years, raised our kids here and moved our business here because we love the caliber of the schools, people and the beauty. If we don't hold true to what makes Argyle special, we will turn into another Keller or Southlake. We are getting the cart in front of the horse. We must improve the infrastructure before we start blowing up the schools and roads. I know we can do both but we must slow down and grow into it, not force it. We wont ever all agree, but if we can all agree on what makes Argyle special, we will all benefit in the long run.
