Say NO to the "Swim with the Tuna" experience at Victor Harbor, say NO to aquaculture on the Fleurieu.

Outrageous. We need to work out other ways to generate money. Victor Harbor and surrounds are towns full of surfers and ocean lovers. We don't need to change anything in the ocean. Leave it as is!

Fully against this tuna farm going ahead at this location. Wrecking our marine park with man made structure that's not natural for this area.

Having read a considerable volume of both research and opinion, I can only ask that sane minds prevail and see this venture for what it is, A soft opening for larger scale aquaculture. OV's proposal as tourism and education are just smoke and mirrors. I personally have grave concerns regarding shark activity. Through personal knowledge, I know that the Pens in Boston Bay have attracted increased shark activity. We just have to look at the effect that sharks can have on the Northern NSW economy to know that it is not worth risking what Victor has.

Very concerned that the VH council has approved a business venture that could potentially attract large sharks to the area. The decision represents a facetious disregard for the safety of the VH community and the future of tourism in VH and surrounding areas.

Say no to a tuna pen at victor harbour! This proposed tuna pen at victor will attract massive sharks and threaten many of the existing tourist attractions and general safety of swimmers and surfers along the coast. Increased shark attracts is an obvious side affect.... Mother and baby whale calves come to the victor area for a safe haven't while the calves grow bigger, penguins live on granite island (the proposed site for the tuna pen) both these things will be gone within months of this tuna pen opening... How does this all seem logical?

Please don't bring it here it's to dangerous so close to shore once it here the shark will come and that's the end of victor harbour

We as surfers have enough sightings as is, this is wreckless and blood will be on your hands.

We don't need this here or want it.

Preserve the natural environment. Keep nuisance predators away, or at least let's not put something there that will attract predators
