I agree with all of the above mentioned I will be moving in in June and currently live in an apartment complex and it is horrible you get a different quality of people than home owners

I am definitely against the building of apartments at the corner of Rabbit Chase Lane and Brenford Rd. Aside from the numerous and justified reasons for opposing the building of these apartments, it is reprehensible that there have been no consequences to Capano. He continues to demonstrate lack of integrity and commitment regarding several current projects, and now is attempting his bait and switch. As a community, we have ask why he's allowed to continue to build anything in Delaware, and challenge the laws that allow someone like Capano to thrive at the expense of the people who live here.

I feel that in this small town 300 plus new apt. Would tax the towns resorces to its limits. Thank you

I am also opposed to these apartments. Totally out of character for the area. Besides Capano already has property across from rest area zoned for hundreds of apartments.

I am totally against the apartments. If I knew this was going to happen I would have NOT bought a home in Worthington! LC Homes need to concentrate on finishing the development they started and give us everything they have promised!!

This goes against everything I was told would happen when I chose to build in the willowwood community. This will do nothing but continue to drive the value to homes down (along with the new head start school being built right on Brenford). This will quickly become a low income area and that will further be exacerbated by the number or foreclosures and short sales you will see in the surrounding communities.

Way too close to the school! I really don't want the additional traffic on Brenford and Rabbit Chase.

Will severely decrease our property value and negatively effect the community of sunnyside

Resident in Hickory Hollow, and I do not want an apartment complex put in on the proposed corner of Brenford Rd. There is far too much traffic on Brenford Road, the community environment would be much better suited if single family homes were put in there, absolutely not apartments. Respectfully, Kristin Gebhardt

I am against the proposed additional apartment buildings by LC. The proposed construction will change the entire character of the adjoining developments. Sandra Knauer-King

I am against the proposed construction of the apartment complex proposed by Worthington Cap LLC. This proposed building will change the entire atmosphere of the neighborhood.

Town of Smyrna Board of Adjustments Chair c/o Ms Dawn Thompson,Administrator 27 S Market Street Smyrna,De 19977 Dear Mr Chairman: Please note that we are quite concerned about plans to grant an exception to the zoning laws. This act will change the character of our community. We bought here three years ago joining an established Willowwood development. We spared no expense in making this home OUR home. We liked that the area contained homeowners like ourselves who expected to stay here and cared about the area for a long time to come. This is NOT true of renters. Renters come and go. Leases are often broken at the whim of the renter. This causes a transient environment. This is not what we were looking for when we bought in this community. If we knew that this was in the plans we would never have bought here. Zoning laws are enacted to protect the people who spent their hard earned money to purchase homes. Exceptions such as this should NEVER be considered. We implore you to vote against this proposal to allow an exception to the zoning laws. Thank you, Joan and Joel Lavinsky 398 Nursery Lane Smyrna,De 19977

More cross traffic will increase the potential for accidents. The speed on Brenford road should be lowered to 35 miles per hour. Many drivers exceed 60 mph . Crossing the double center line to pass is a common practice. On several occasions I've seen drivers pass a school bus while it was unloading kids. An apartment complex will bring in more traffic and more people in a hurry. It's just a matter of time until someone get hurt.

Many residents have moved to this area because of the quiet neighborhoods and peaceful setting and to retire and enjoy in peace the 2nd half of their lives. Bringing in an apartment building will take away from the quiet community living that the current residents have grown to love and appreciate.
