No way Jose Been living in this neighborhood for 43 years This is absolutely unacceptable I have kids and neices and nephews!!!!

There is a need for more awareness in the neighborhood. Meeting needs to be scheduled and more flyers. I have not seen anything in the media about this issue.

Could be bad for the community

This shelter will open soon so Stop making your stupid cries about security for your kids. This is a city, you haven’t lived till you have been mugged a few times. Your kids will also learn how to drug deal soon as they walk back home next to panhandlers enticing them to make a few extra bucks. Brown people have no power against the Mayors machine to even convince your own rep Reynoso to oppose this project. Brown people will always house shelters because most of the homeless people are brown - where do you want them to go? To Park slope where only rich people live? Homeless and undocumented people will make Bushwick better. Come on let’s all woke up. Let’s welcome them here, It will be great for the neighborhood drug dealing n all the nearby businesses will make a killing with the extra traffic. Let’s also open more nightclubs in the area so the homeless people are lifted from their situation by a meaningful job selling drugs to the folks clubbing on Saturday night. If you are so worried about your kids, move to Park Slope.

We must always ensure that our children are safe. The schools must be a priority.

This shelter has been located in our street without the input of the residents. We have already two shelters in a radius of six blocks. That’s is not a fair share. We have not been informed of the environmental impact of the shelter in our community.

Going to bring the community down bushwick has work so hard to bring the community up to have a fall like this is not worth it.Shame on the city of newyork 80 men harassing our woman and children just when you think the neighborhood is safe the city dose this to us.im not saying all of them are bad but they can not function in society send them to the army.
