As a women they say I have the right to choose what I do with my body, yet now your trying to take away my right to protect that same body? Makes no sense to me, I thought this was the land of the free. How about harsher laws for those who use assault riffles to commit crimes. Stop trying to control law abiding citizens and focus on stopping the criminals. The U.S. constitution have been working for centuries don’t try and fix something that isn’t broken!!!

This bill is a direct infringement of the 2nd Ammendment and of the Delaware Constitution. The actions of the sponsoring legislators are both illegal and immoral.

The bill presents several unsupported claims as to the use and intentions of lawful firearm owners and will only serve to hinder the access of law-abiding citizens to sport and protective firearms while doing nothing to stop the actions of the criminals that perpetrate these heinous shootings. The time and energy of our elected officials should be spent focusing on the criminal (e.g. their mental health, better background checks, better communication between agencies when an individual is flagged, etc.) and the prevention of shootings, not punishing the law-abiding citizen. Vote NO and back your lawful firearm-owning constituency.
