This ban would be completely unfair to law abiding citizens criminals would simply ignore the law sent in place so why penalize the good guys.

Despite what the sponsor of this bill says, I use my so called "assault Weapon" for home defense. Also it is one of the 3 guns I use to compete in the 3 gun competition.

“Give me liberty or give me death!” Banning weapons is not the answer. Government needs to put the power of raising our kids back in the hands of parents and not in the hands of liberal teachers. Requiring a full psychological evaluation prior to any weapons purchase should help deter any would be assasins. Do not punish law abiding citizens for someone else’s crimes.

This is about folks with mental issues and thugs and criminals. We must reopen the mental hospitals to deal mentally ill and listen to the ones pointing the mentally ill out. Reopen the mental hospitals to deal with this.
