Why don't you find laws that work? Have you not learned from history? The US has already tried an assault weapons ban and the violence did not stop or even lessen. Please address the real issues. Legal gun ownership is NOT the real problem. Look back and see where things started to go wrong and see what caused the real issue!!!

I don't think it's right to ban any gun for the actions of a few. You should hold parents accountable for their children's actions. Make them be parents again, not their child's best friend.

How about if you start enforcing the laws that are already on the books and stop all of the plea bargaining everything down to a minor slap on the wrist !!! We need more parent responsibility and common sense and fewer video games that teach our kids how to kill !!!

Saying that someone doesn't need an "assault rifle" because it doesn't apply to when the second amendment was written is like saying free press is only limited to news papers and not TV or the internet.
Please do the right thing and keep your hands off of our second amendment rights, our forefathers knew what they were doing when it was written and it still applies in today's world.
