No to SB 163

For all those for stronger gun laws that infringe on our second amendment rights just remember if they can do that they can take away your rights as well. I guess we could all sell our legally owned guns and go by guns off the street. It would be cheaper and faster than buying them legally.

Stop trying to stop our constitutional rights and start going after the bad guys and let parents be parents and start bringing discipline back into every day life where it belongs.

We must maintain the original intent and heritage of the second amendment. Law abiding and stable gun owners need to have the means to protect out State and country from foreign intrusion and a tyrannical government. Both of these reasons are part of the original intent of the Second Amendment. Delaware legislators should maintain originality and independent thought processes and not be influenced by neighboring state legislators for control over individual resident’s lives.

Absolutely not! This is unconstitutional. You may think we are all Neanderthals, but even my 9 year old grandson can articulate the effects of this anti-American legislation. “Those who take away the guns will have more power and the citizens will have less power to defend themselves.”

VOTE NO TO SB 163 !!!! VOTE NO TO SB 330 !!!!

No ban, we need better systematic approaches to dealing with mental health illnesses and their ability to posses and purchases ANY firearm. The guns they choose to use are not the issue, but the individual that is inacting this violence.

the gun laws for criminals we have now does not work because of the liberal democrats who always feel sorry for someone. Why are the law abiding citizens always punished. All I hear is the prisons are over crowded. Therefore the liberals keep letting the criminals out to re-offend. The laws we have now can fix that problem only if we strictly abide by them, but that’s not the case.

Employed in the law enforcement field for Delaware, current gun laws are not enforced. These are the first charges to be dropped in plea deals or they result in probation which is usually violated at a later date resulting in minimal incarceration. These criminals are many times repeat gun/drug offenders. The insanity of removing more rights from law abiding citizens when shootings in Wilmington and across Delaware are being performed by violent criminals that do not pay attention to any laws.

2nd amendment right!

WE THE PEOPLE Demand a no vote on SB163 and HB 330 and any other gun control legislation that attack’s our 2nd amendment rights. Senate Bill 163 prohibits the manufacture, sale, offer to sell, transfer, purchase, receipt, possession, or transport of assault weapons in Delaware. This bill will do nothing to stop any criminal or mentally ill person from committing these acts of violence that our legislators say they are protecting us from House Bill 330 would make it illegal for an adult aged 18 to 20 to purchase or transfer a rifle or rifle ammunition without first receiving permission from their parent or guardian. This legislation is outright offensive and demeaning to Delaware’s young adults who are otherwise allowed to vote, join the military, and exercise every other constitutionally guaranteed right. Anti-gun legislators are playing games with the right to self-defense of law-abiding Delaware gun owners.

No to any Bill that infringes on the 2nd amendment

Been a lifelong Democrat but this is the one issue that will push me to vote Republican. Don't deny our rights.
