This is NOT a NIMBY response. Climate changes means we should not be expending ANY airports or building any new ones.

When Terminal 4 was built, BAA said no T5. When T5 was built, they said no third runway. Isn't it time our politicians supported the people rather than the profits of a big business that has no regard or respect for its neighbours.

All the evidence suggests that business use of Heathrow can be increased withjout expansion since it only represents 20% of Heathrow use. Non-Business users can be diverted elsewhere.

Invest in a 4 runway hub airport elsewhere that can keep up with 21st Century air traffic - Heathrow can't!

Although I live in the London Borough of Harrow, I am still awoken each morning with the early flights following the path in to Heathrow. On some days the planes can be heard with their whining noise throughout the day with intervals of only a few minutes. There are simply too many planes flying over many parts of London, and expanding Heathrow is not the solution to the capacity issues. And the problem with noise disruption is not contained to Hounslow or West London, but is spread much further to areas such as Harrow as well.

The proposed new runway would ruin the historic village of Harmondsworth, the sacrifice of which would be licensed vandalism in the name of corporate profit.

I'm not asking for Heathrow to go away; just trying to stop it threatening the lives, homes and communities of everyone who lives near it.
