This clearly breaches the 'no if no buts' promise made by David Cameron to 5 west London constituencies before last election. Putting 1 million people under low flying planes is no way to move the nation forward. The stance of parties on this will determine how I vote at the next election

I am strongly opposed to the Heathrow expansion proposal. I am disappointed by the lack of integrity of David Cameron.

Expand other airports, Gatwick / Stanstead & new airport (keep Heathrow just don't expand further)

Correction I meant 70 years not 79! Proposals for an airport at Heathrow were first put forward in 1943 under the pretext that the RAF had an urgent need for an airfield close to London

I strongly oppose the already congested expansion of Heathrow Airport and would ask you to consider a much more long term sustainable approach of building a modern airport in the Thames Estuary sim liar to other cities like Osaka, Japan or Hong Kong. we need a flexible solution that will cater for future needs in air travel not just another short-term fix. This area of London is already suffering from the airport taking in to account all the commercial and employment benefits to the region. Lets plan for the future.

How can the Prime Minister say there will be no expansion to Heathrow when he came into office and is now happy to reverse the decision. Is there no integrity?
