Has anyone dared to think about the impact of noise pollution on our overstretched NHS?

There are enough airports around London, including the proposed Estuary airport. No expansion at Heathrow!

Personally, Heathrow expansion would force me from my home and force my family to move away. On a different level, we are a small island, do we really need to take over a large part of it just to remain the busiest airport in the world? We need to be realistic to protect our country before it just disappears.

Expansion at Heathrow makes no sense. Airports need to be located away from centres of population, on grounds of air pollution, noise pollution and accident risk. The estuary option is clearly the right way to go.

The Estuary Hub is the answer.

Use Stanstead or Gatwick instead. The traffic and train congestion would be too much for West london, which struggles as it is.

My household comprising 3 voters are all directly affected by noise of flights coming in to Heathrow and fear of aircraft pollution or far worse still air accidents overhead, so I urge you to consider our strong opposition to Further Heathrow expansion which blights the lives of h

Noise and volume of planes in the local community is already too much. Heathrow expansion would only provide a short term improvement to capacity, far better to work towards a long term solution by creating another airport East of the City.

NO to a third runway at Heathrow

Yet again the London airport debacle is unresolved. Can those in authority have some long term foresight. Adding further runways to Heathrow is only a short term and far from ideal situation. Look well into the future and create a new airport in the Thames estuary.

It's about time someone denounced the myth that Heathrow is '99% full'! It clearly isn't, as they proudly claimed to have handled a record 20% more passengers on one day at the start of the 2012 Olympics. It may well be near full during the avaiation rush-hour, but welcome to the club of over-crowded train, bus, and road users.Expansio will not solve the problem, as the M25 has so ably demostrated, where the 'road to hell' is on an upward spiral to 4,5,6 lanes and beyond
