As there are a number of clear alternatives it is important that these are explored..expansion of stanstead with a good frequent rail link to London and other major cities ….the noise level for heathrow are increasing as are the early morning flights now starting around 5.30…the increased congestion, road and rail, that will be caused, already the tube is full of people with huge suitcases travelling during peak times making the normal commute even more difficult…. and a host of other issues...

The revised Heathrow north-west option plan includes changes to the M4/M25 interchange at Thorney. The areas of South Bucks to the north of this location would be disastrously affected but details are not shown on any maps so far produced! I also note the Davies commission report cannot even get the name of one of the affected villages correct. The calls the village of Longford Longworth!

Anyone with any sense of moral, civic and commercial duty will know that expanding Heathrow is the wrong option. Other countries and communities seem able to take a longer term view of the future and the investment needed but we in the UK just pander to the short term greed and vested interests of a few industrial and political mandarins.

It will be increased misery for millions of people if this insane proposal is pushed through.

Expansion of Heathrow is not in the interest of London as it compounds possibilities for delays and disruption in one place. It also increases traffic in west London. London should be served by all its airports equally with each airport servicing a specific area of the capital. London is the Hub not one individual airport. Why cannot international flights be accessible from all its airports and all airports be available for use in weather events thus cancelling out recent and past delays and disruption. expansion outside London would also bring prosperity to the regions. would anyone wish to land in Frankfurt rather than Berlin, or Begin rather than Shanghai?

Be bold and build a new airport. Stop finding patchy solutions for the next two decades and then have a new problem then.

I am very much against expansion to Heathrow and, given the already crowded nature of life in the south east, it would make more sense to explore air access to other parts of the country.

Madness! It is difficult to get sleep for my family as is. A third runway would ruin our lives.

I believe it would be a huge mistake to expand Heathrow. The skies above West London are already full to the brink with aircraft. The last thing local residents need is more planes polluting their environment and an even higher risk of a major accident.

The UK needs to look at this on a national perspective, not as just a Heathrow/London centric.

Just west of the capital city is the wrong place for a major airport.
