if the main parties don't rule out this option when the Davies interim report is published on 17th December they will have dealt a severe blow to the democratic process given their commitments not to expand at the last election.

More noise, more traffic, more pollution, more risk over highly dense areas…clearly the wrong decisions!

Enough is enough. No more Heathrow expansion! We, the people who live in west London, and the environment are more important than fliers, who can always fly in from elsewhere, if (and it is a big if) need be. If we were starting from fresh today, no one would come up with the present situation. It's time to build a new airport out of London with proper fast transport links into the city.

I live in Canada and fly to England to visit family. Stansted would be more convenient for me.

Absolutely no heathrow expansion. It's poisoning the air we breathe. It's causing asthma in our children. It's making our pensioners have strokes. It's reducing quality of life for literally millions. More of the same? Only a fool could be taken in by Heathrow Ltds lobbying. Stand together and say no.

No to Heathrow! Yes to expanding Stanstead and Gatwick and providing good links into London and between the 3. Either that or a hub solution to the East.

I feel that the flight paths over Fulham and any area suffering the same are a violation of human rights and the right to peaceful enjoyment of a home. It has serious effects on health, sleep and all that a lack of sleep brings in its wake. Adults suffer at work from a lack of sleep, children suffer in learning from a lack of sleep. Aggression kicks in, depression is an outcome and it must impact on the National Health for many reasons. It is not guess work, there is now proof that these flights which are like a morning and daily onslaught, have far reaching effects including strokes and heart attacks, which does not surprise me in the least. Those in support so obviously do not live underneath a flight path. There are too many lives effect for big business to win this argument. Any government, MP or leader should be deeply ashamed of supporting this, but then again, shame does not seem to be a recognised syndrome they suffer from. These flights are horrific torture for those that suffer from them - I know, I live under one.

It is utter lunacy to plan to expand Heathrow when aircraft noise already intrudes disruptively into family life even as far away as Barnes. As an occasional user of the airport I find access almost impossible by car at busy times (most of the time) and the underground from Hammersmith is slow and unreliable. I now fly from Manchester when I can as is an altogether better airport - or take Eurostar and travel in comfort...
