The noise is intolerable and ruins our quality of life. How can Heathrow realistically expect to expand. We need a REDUCTION in the amount of noise, not an increase.

No more runways. Stop all your freight flights from early morning arrival. No other capital or main cities anywhere else have to put up with this absurd noise pollution. Vast swathes of london form the centre to the west are being ruined by stupid aeroplane noise. Build a hub in the midlands near the pointless hs2 line.

A third runway at Heathrow is madness. Not only will it blight the lives of millions of Londoners, but it will further emphasize Heathrow's postition as the worst major airport in Europe where it comes to impacting on the inhabitants.

The noise from the airplanes is ruining my retirement , it is constant save a few short hours at night. I can no longer enjoy my garden in the summer as the noise is so bad,.

We live 10 miles from Heathrow and are affected by the noise so millions closer are affected in a huge way. People before profit

Expanding Heathrow delays recognition that it is not the solution.

London's main airport is in the wrong place. Far too many people are already affected by aircraft noise. Expanding Heathrow is unthinkable and would be a huge, permanent and desperately sad imposition on citizens of London.

Having lived for 47 years in Hounslow under the flightpath, life will be iunbearable if flights increase. NO FURTHER EXPANSION PLEASE. .

We should not be expanding airport capacity at all, never mind at Heathrow which already causes misery for thousands of people in and around London.

This solution is short term only and will not solve the longer term issue . Iam in favour of a new site to the east of London in part because i fear the possibility of a crash over the densely populated area of Greater London could occur and this would have a serious impact on London as a financial centre.

Even though lilving in central London the constant noise from planes is unremitting, and there should be no further expansion which involves planes flying over London when landing.

I strongly oppose any expansion to Heathrow on the grounds that it is purely a patch-up, not an answer. It can never be expanded sufficiently so every few years the problem will be re-visited. Let's build a proper modern airport hub in the Thames Estuary. The estimated cost is around £100m whereas the present cost of the HS2 white elephant is £50m. Surely any sane person can see which is the more useful? Let's stop patching it up, lets stopsending foreign aid to countries richer than us, scrap HS2, and in a few years it will be paid for.

The noise is already terrible, not to mention the safety risks of expansion.

There ought to be an overall national transport infrastructure plan integrating road, train, and air traffic. HS2 and airport capacity need to be looked at in conjunction.

Noise is already excessively great, and shouold be reduced. Runway alternation is an absolute minimum requirement. Heathrow is simply in the wrong place!
