Flying can't expand. Our obligation re climate change and air pollution make expansion not a viable option. There are other ways of doing business and achieving a reasonable measure of recreational travel.

Particularly when they fly at such ridiculously low altitudes! They do this because they are allowed ti get away with it. If one flew over a duck house or Mr Osborne's home, then might be a different story.

Expanding Heathrow would make aircraft noise/pollution even worse for those of us in Fulham under the flight path.it eve

The local area cannot cope with more passengers, more noise, more air pollution. The sensible solution would be the new airport in the estuary, which would minimise noise impacts on people. Let's hope the Davis commission compares apple with apple & not pear when thinking about environmental impacts. LHR already has very poor air quality around it.

We suffer from early morning to late at night. It is inconceivable that more noise and air pollution should be heaped upon us. Spread the pain around a bit.

Only when profit is put ahead of people can an organisation promote the idea of exporting more misery to the lives of tens of thousands of involuntary customers (residents).

So sorry to hear, but such common issue. It's about time that noise was addressed and redressed seriously. Countless people have been trampled on, and lives and health blighted, and the establishment stick fingers in their ears and look away If HS2 runs near your home or a major road scheme you are compensated for blight. Heathrow dumps a virtual runway on your head and operates it intensively and it is apparently your choice/fault. Well, no it isn't!!! Time to fight back on a large scale!!
