It will cause enviromental damage, noise pollution and 800 houses will be demolished so people will loose their homes. As for jobs it won't be given to British companies or people.

Cost-benefit analysis does not seem to stack up and "flies" in the face of environmental common sense, making people's lives seriously miserable in the process.

This expansion will not benefit those living within the radius of the Airport. It is reported that 750 homes will have to be demolished to make way for the expansion. Will the families be housed before or after, if at all, the work is done? Also, the extra air and road traffic in the area will not be adequately provided for, as well as the additional pollution caused by the extra cars and flights.

Expansion at Heathrow benefits vested interests only, i.e. businesses operating at Heathrow. Everyone else suffers through increased air pollution, noise pollution, light pollution, increased traffic congestion, increased pressure on housing, schools, public transport, hospitals, and general overcrowding and over population of surrounding towns and villages. The Governments endorsement of the 3rd runway amounts to government sponsored environmental vandalism. It is time to stop this madness.

Gatwick costs the UK nothing. Gatwick provides enormous economic benefits for the local economy.

It will destroy people's lives, yes you could give them another house, but some people have lived in these villages there whole lives and they have so much history, the runway only goes over 2 of the villages partially, so why do they need to demolish all the houses. Longford doesn't get covered by the runway at all, but all of that village might be going away. There al
A very sad decision, very shortsighted.
Stop polluting our children's air
