The billions of pounds spent on this would be better spent on hospitals, schools, road repairs, care for the elderly, help for the most vulnerable in our society, free tv licenses for the elderly. Not flying more people in to our already overpopulated country.

The UK Government has declared an environment emergency. Facilitating more and cheaper flights is lunacy against the backdrop of a deteriorating environment

I think it;s disgusting that money and greed is taking over the world. We should be saving the enviroment not makignit worse by cretaign more polution. And houses will have to be moved but the peopel will be compensated! MORE MONEY! It's a joke! Stop the world, I want toget off!

This is just about making rich people even richer. It is people quality of life at stake here, whether it be from noise, pollution or stress from being stuck in traffic trying to get to do a days work.

The government have declared no carbon emissions at all by 2050. This can’t be achieved with MORE air travel.

Allowing Heathrow to expand any further in any direction will create so many more problems than it will solve. For the sake of profit our quality of life will be directly and adversely damaged. As we all will have to deal with the consequences from air pollution & excessive noise ,any attempt at reducing Climate change effects will be futile if more planes are allowed to fly.I also know that what ever the Electorates concerns are will be totally ignored until we are expected to vote for a new government by which time it will be too late as the building work has already begun..There are many areas within the EU & UK where air pollution is at such a high level that it is now affecting the way people negatively feel within their own lives..

Continuing with the third runway proposal is totally at odds with the declaration of a climate emergency

Given the ever-increasing evidence that we are facing a climate crisis, I feel that we need to reduce flying, not expand it.

I dont favour any new options for further flights. People should be encouraged to fly less, not more.

Why is the Paris agreement not accepted under UK law? This must be changed if we are to seriously do our duties to halt climate change. How can parliament have voted for this? What the hell is going on?
