Pollution is already at a horrendous level, you can hardly breathe on Chiswick High Road - what happened to reducing pollution and greenhouse gases for the future of our planet!

This can't happen - no one wants it, it will be a disaster.

We keep getting fined by unelected bureaucrats in Brussels for not bringing pollution down, and here they are trying to put more planes up in the sky, chucking out their fumes behind them. One more way of wasting tax payers cash by paying more fines, I suppose ! Absolute madness to uproot hundreds of families, re-locate their children in schools miles away, and expect families to move possibly to other parts of the country as there are not enough homes availble near Sipson and Harmondsworth. Crass stupidity, and the gov't is stupid enough to lt this still be considered ?

“No, no, no!” as Mrs. Thatcher said. I thought that this vandalising vanity project had been thrown into the dustbin of history years ago, and that only after the residents of Harmondsworth and Sipson had seen the values of their homes rise and fall wildly over years with the ebbing and flowing of the threats from Heathrow. And now Sir Howard Davies and his clique of business buddies have sought again to wreck the homes and lives of those living within the hinterland of LHR. More than that, they’ve made feeble attempts to sweeten the pill by pretending that more flights won’t mean more noise, more aircraft won’t mean more pollution and that homeowners will be on the way to their banks laughing with the compensation they’ll be paid. These deceptions are an insult. Get real! To expand on Mrs. T.: No to more planes hugging the rooftops of Hounslow and Harlington; no to the wilful despoiling of England’s heritage at St. Mary’s, Harmondsworth and at the Great Barn; no to more noise destroying the beauty of Kew Gardens, Syon House, Windsor Castle (the tourists don’t come here for that). Off the runway, Sir Howard, and on yer bike!

The November 2014 trials provided sufficient evidence of what would happen should there be more flights. Teddington quality of life was severely damaged. Noise levels rose dramatically, frequency of flights increased and houses shook from the vibration of hard banking planes. It was intolerable for children to learn at school and people to live at home as the planes flew over from 6am to past 11pm.

Tired of hearing how this will create thousands of jobs and boost the economy. We need to put our environment first. How can people expect to live in a healthy environment if we don't respect it.

Noise pollution from increased aircraft traffic flying over Wokingham and Finchampstead is already at unacceptable levels especially early morning when we are constantly woken at 04:30 which is affecting our health and is totallt unacceptable. I strongly oppose any further expansion of Heathrow which further errodes our quality of life affects health and pollutes the environment.
