The noise and pollution levels we experience from Heathrow are already very high. Another runway would be unbearable in terms of increasing noise and air pollution and congestion.

If Heathrow is up to capacity, move freight to another airport, we have no need for a further runway. All it will being is more, noise and pollution, oh and of course copious amounts of money to BAA!

With easterly winds we are directly under the path of most A380 flights. Their noise is intolerable, as they are still quite low when they pass overhead. Another runway at Heathrow would give Emirates & Co further room for expansion - more flights!! The sensible location for any country's major hub airport must be downwind from the capital city. The Thames estuary is the ideal location to build world-class infrastructure and THE HUB FOR EUROPE. The boost to the UK economy would be massive!

We are directly under a flight path . We cannot imagine an increase in flight density over SW London. It is already virtually "over"whelmed by te frequency and noise. Thank God we dont live closer to Heathrow than we do.in

It makes no sense to have located a major airport in a populated area, with flight oaths inevitably running low over a huge conurbation. Any airport expansion should be either to the South or North of London, with a string argument for the North to allow easier access from other UK cities , ideally by train.

I oppose expansion on grounds of Noise, Pollution and Congestion around where I live. The present levels are already a problem!.

Emmisions from aroplanes are one of the worst pullutants. We should be cutting down on air travel not encouraging it.
