the infrastructure - roads etc cannot support more traffic - also Heathrow is vulnerable to bad weather - extra capacity should be provided far enough away to benefit from different weather conditions - there should be a new airport in the estuary

It's a disgrace - anyone worried about their jobs shouldn't. If teh redevelopment of Heathrow went ahead, there would be plenty of jobs and the ares which are already wastelands would be developed. Don't listen to lobbying mob would turn the ears of politicans to say what they want. Heathrow should be closed. They fly planes over London to approach to turn them around and then land at Heathrow. It's a farce! Let's tell people how we feel.

We have had enough of LHR expansion. It is time to adopt a different course - either better use & co-ordination between existing airports or, better still, a new airport with approaches over the sea.
