Adding to Heathrow will only ever be temporary. Lets have a vision to start again, do it properly, and be prepared for the future, and be ahead of the competition, not just playing catch up.

Am strongly opposed to expansion of Heathrow. The noise level is unacceptable now and the number of homes involved is huge. Logical thinking would be for expansion of Stansted and Gatwick with a high speed train service between the three. Best of all, a new City airport in the east to keep London ahead as a financial centre.

Noise pollution is a real issue, please don't overlook it! It has a major effect on the health and quality of life of the hundreds of thousands of people who live in the area around Heathrow.

It would be insane to expand Heathrow.

No expansion of Heathrow....build a new airport in the thames estuary now rather than later.

Enough is enough. Look for a sensible central UK site for a new international airport.

Total madness to continue to have the whole airflight route over central London - Lowereing over millions of residents in theWest london cuasing then continual disturbance

Our under the flight path time is unbearable when it is warm enough to have the windows open or to be outside, even our 'respite' time is far from silent. More runways must mean more planes, so more noise and more pollution.

We already have noisy skies, and there is already too much building around London. We will all be the losers in the end.
