Heathrow is in the wrong place - it compounds the mistake to add T4,...T5,...a third runway,....a fourth runway,.....

The airport already impacts on our health and well-being and an extra runway would make life unbearable for many. It appears to many that no real credence is given to the welfare of citizens by those who make such decisions.

We have not just moved into the area an ld are complaining about the noise, we have lived in East Sheen for over 20 years and during that time flight numbers have increased dramatically. Virtually every morning I am woken up between 4am-5am with aircraft noise and so are my children. Please please please do not allow any further increase in flight numbers.

Londoners should share this burden. Further blighting an already over-burdened corner of London. Not fair!

I believe any further deterioration in the quality of life for people living near Heathrow would be intolerable and a total affront to democracy.

What a dumb idea! Even if you were able to expand LHR, you could not improve the transport links sufficiently to manage the increased passenger numbers. London needs a new airport, not a bigger Heathrow.

I do not believe that the appalling impact on those living under the flight path have been properly considered but feel the economic benefits are being overstated

The more we keep expanding Heathrow, the harder it becomes to correct the basic mistake that this is an appalling location for an airport.

I am completely against expansion at Heathrow but don't support expansion at Stansted or a new Thames Estuary airport either. The only solution is no new runway, and a reduction in flying with more investment in good surface transport for domestic and near-Europe flights.

Airport expansion at Heathrow must be contained. W e cannot allow the demands of commercialism and the lust for econmic growth at whatever cost destroy and contaminate the area and the future for generations to come.

Expanding Heathrow is a short-term fix and we need a new purpose airport that provides; growth capacity for the next 50 years, can operate 24 hours, does not right roughshod over Londoners basic rights to protection from noise, pollution and being under a dangerous flight-path

Big is not necessarily beautiful - let those who promote expansion come and stay under the flight-path for a week or so..especially in the summer.....
