Whatever expansion plans are made for Heathrow, they will be insufficient by the time its built. When will it stop needing further expansion and the goverment make a sensible future proof decision?

Any move to expand Heathrow will definitely decide me not to vote Conservative again. It was the party's promise not to expand Heathrow that made me vote for the Conservatives in the first place.

The horrendos noise of planes flying over our home both day and night is bad enough, the image of one crashing over our built-up area is too nightmarish to even think aboujt - and yet it is only too possible.

We don't need any expansion. Do we want to use 30% of our carbon budget on aviation? That's the official plan. Plenty of other ways to build the economy.
