Heathrow has enough runways - Gatwick could easily support a further runway and it takes no longer to get to the city centre from Gatwick than it does from Heathrow. It doesn't make any sense to me to expand Heathrow. Also, I do not believe a word they tell me about less pollution and less noise - they must think they are dealing with complete idiots.

Wrong location for an airport. Blights lives of half a million people. Do the right thing!

This is all wrong; Heathrow lie and lie again about expansion. Some of us made life changes becasue we stupidly believed them when they said if they got T5 they would need no more expansion. Noise, pollution are never controlled. Triple glazing is not the answer. How do people use gardens and parks? There is not enough houses, health care, schools etc., for all the ecomomic migrants who are the main group to benefit from additional jobs. The M4 is a car park now and will get worse with another runway. How can the government chunter on about taking more exercise outdoors, bang on about climate change and air quality and approve this expansion. We are killing our planet and destroying lives. The madness of Heathrow must stop.

In the past six months we had and exponential increase in aircafrts noise. I do not know if it is from Heathrow, Gatwick or Biggin Hill. Aircrafts fly over evry three minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have aircrafts flying over at 1am, 2.30am, 5am and so on.

Summer 2016 has seen massive increase in flights directly over Cheapside. Low flying aircraft continues after 11 pm and frequently is ongoing at beyond midnight. Sometimes we have experienced noise after 1 am and even once after 2 pm. What is happening. It is like living at thecend of the runway.

The impact on air quality and environmental health of a City the size of London is more important that lining the pockets of some private companies.

I live in Whitton and the tremendous noise of the planes going overhead even with double glazing is already too much.

I work in West London and have to drive 10 miles which already often takes 90 minutes when there is a lorry breakdown or accident somewhere. Travel disruptions during construction will be crippling to local householders and make selling homes difficult without lowering prices. Businesses will become less effective as employees arrive very late and angry at their time wasted sitting in buses / cars in slow-moving queues.

Directly under path of LHR flights. Unbearable noise every minute
