When will politicians accept that millions of peoples health and well being is more important than feeding a future disaster. New hub and no expansion at Heathrow

Air port noise is an intrusion. I tolerate it at the current level, after all, I fly sometimes ! But to increase it would be seriously unpleasant for thousands of people.

Apart from the obvious dngers having having even more flights coming in to Heathrow, the time has come to bring passengers in to the north of London and the Midlands

Heathrow is and always has been in the wrong place environmentally. It needs politicians of stature to see that and move our airport hub.

We are already woken shortly after 0400h. when LHR south runway is in use, and cannot use our garden at all in the summer in the same circumstances. I am a frequent flyer and use LHR, but surely there must be some way around this problem!

It is in my view crazy to expand airport capacity, when flights could well reduce in future. I am regularly adversely affected by aircraft noise, and I recognise this as a major social and health nuisance.

This is more than a broken promise, it is short-termism that will diminish the daily lives of many thousands, causing serious noise pollution over a densely populated area of London.
