Heathrow expansion is not the answer. It is short-term solution that will cause damaging noise pollution affecting many thousands of people.

Noise and pollution has increaded over the 25 years that we have lived in Richmond. No world class city would expect so many of its citizens to endure the disruption to sleep and comfort. the chance to develop a decent airport for the future in a place where tae off and landing do not overfly the city and destroy the lives of people in the West of the city. It seems like promise after promise has been broken over the years ... shameful.

Entirely agree with idea that LHR should be closed and an new terminal built in Thames Estuary in East London, a terminal fit for 21ST Century

Utter folly to increase flights over densley populated residential urban areas. Other countries have relocated airports or improved connections between hubs in metropolitan areas. Why can't we?

It is a complete nonsense for there to be ANY expansion of Heathrow airport. The current level of noise and air pollution is just about tolerable and only just at those times when there are many people going on holiday so causing flights at night outside of the usual limits. Furthermore, it is complete follly to consider increasing the number of aircraft flying right over the centre of our very congested capital city.
