Expansion is not needed - it will only build the slums of 60-100 years time.

Take a. Deep breath and follow the Hong Kong example: do the right thing. Population pressure in Western London and noise do not go together. It's a cop out to extend heathrow.

The noise is very damaging for residents and has become worse recently.

This are of SE London has gone from a quiet location to a noise ghetto. Being at the cross roads of City Airport and LHR we never get a break. The first plans to Heathrow come over the square around 4:30am and go on until after 23:00. The stress and anxiety is making our family sick. The noise reduces concentration and brings misery to all.

Expanding heathrow is not the answer. It will just bring more misery to thousands more under the flightpath.

I love living in Kew, but the constant noise from aircraft which now seems to last until well past midnight and starts again in the early morning, providing little respite, is a constant source of discontent.

The noise is already intolerable, not to mention time restrictions not enough. please do not increase the stress of those who will be adversely affected if any expansion were to take place.

Heathrow must be considered obsolescent. A new airport in the estuary with two runways built first and expanding to four is an ideal future objective. We could use existing airport capacity, with improved transport infrastructure, to provide a smooth transition in order to transfer air passenger traffic to a new estuary airport. Even maintaining the existing Heathrow facility is burying our heads in the sand. I need convincing with a sound technical analysis, rather than being told by "experts" that they know they are right.

We are against heathrow expansion due to noise pollution. As a Richmond resident planes at 4.30 in the morning wake us up. They are unbearable.
