I wish to register my strong objection to further expansion at LHR, an import simply in the wrong place which places an unacceptable level of noise on millions - thousands of peope.

We live in the flight path to Heathrow and the increase in air traffic really affects our quality of life. The noise pollution disturbs our daily life, from early morning til late at night. Traffic is unbelievable at times and it becomes very difficult for us to leave London for any trips on the road, when the roads can not support the volume of traffic going to Heathrow already. We strongly believe that investment in expansion of other airports around the UK would have greater benefits to other cities and regions. Leave Heathrow and South West London alone.

Please no more aeroplanes flying over my house - it's bad enough at all hours of the day and part of the night - enough is enough.

All it takes is one aircraft to crash on its appraoch over London and Heathrow's future is seriously in doubt whatever the Commission decides. Its in the wrong place. Why compound the error?

Expanding Heathrow impacts one of the most populated areas in the UK. Given that much of the traffic needs to travel to the city / docklands it does not seem a sensible solution especially when you consider how over utilised the transport infrastructure already is. The largest population and business growth is forcast for the east of London which will only further compound the problem. We should be considering new build high capacity options, not trying to squeeze a bit more (not enough) capacity out of a existing airport with many limitation. Simples.

No runway, the estuary runway is much more sensible!! Have some consideration for the families living under the Heathrow flight path.

Surely we really cannot be expected to have to bear even more noise and pollution from Aircraft landing at or leaving Heathrow! Surely Heathrow is an accident waiting to happen. I recall a plane having to make an emergency landing in a field very near to StaInestown centre many years ago. It was a miracle that the plane did not land on houses nearby!

I beleive the best economic growth porspects for The uk are expanding the airport facilities in regional airports, manchester, edinburgh, newcastle, bristol we need to encourage business to set up in other parts of the UK and not further inflate london commercial and private porerty rpices. On top of this the negative externalities arriving to the transport and environment state of west london will be not covered by the economic gain. I say no totally to the expansion of Heathrow

We all enjoy the befits of air travel and it should be only fair that the neusance caused by the take off and landing at airports should be shared between communities and not just those that live near the current airports.

Expansion of Heathrow will seriously and detrimentally affect those of us who live in the area. There are other far better alternatives.

Heathrow can continue to grow its passenger numbers with a R3 or R4. It's time for some fair competition between London's airports.
