This government is shameful! It has U-turned on its pre-election pledge that there would be no Heathrow expansion.

I am astonished that the Commission is even contemplating the expansion of Heathrow, sonsidering it will create incrased misery to the very residents of London to which it is meant to be serving.

Join the "No MIles HIgh" brigade! Spend holidays in the UK! Long distance train journeys as an alternative to air flight. And whoever thought of "air miles" an an incentive needs their heads examining.

Additional runways at Heathrow is totally unacceptable , will cause intolerable noise to residents, increase pollution levels and will not be beneficial to the climate change issues that future generations face. In addition, this government has reversed its pledged from when it came into power, which was to promise that there would be no heathrow expansion during this governments service. What this government is doing is shameful! If heathrow is expanded, I will not be voting for this government again. Regards, Donna Paddon

No to Heathrow further expansion. Get UK open for major expansion with a new purpose built airport with Eurostar train connections, thus opening up trnsport links throughout UK and European destinations for both aircraft and rail.

Noise from Heathrow airport affects more residents than any other airport in Europe; it was simply built in the wrong place. We have to face the fact that an alternative strategy is needed (a new Eurpean gateway hub airport in the East surely) or further blight will be inflicted on even more residents. Surely that cannot be acceptable in a modern, civilised society, when all the consequences are known. d irther sat surelyat fcat and uunforu,

Please, please, life is difficult enough. We do not need any more planes over East Sheen. Every single night I am woken by planes. It should be a human right to be able to sleep at night.
Bad idea
